The Fantastic 4 reboot tripped and stumbled. It was stale, lacking humor and heart. The 2005 version had mood; Johnny Storm was a fun carefree, reckless charismatic character. The interplay between him and Thing was entertaining; the interplay with the public engaging.

In the reboot there is no interplay between any of the characters, or anyone else for that matter; they all seemed disconnected and uninterested in the film and/or each other.

Marvel Comics Films

Of all the Marvel Entertainment Films that have been made to date, Hulk, Blade, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Thor, Ghost Rider, Dare Devil, The Punisher, Spider Man, Captain America, Iron Man, and the Avengers,  which was the best film, and which were the best characters?

Personally, the original Spider Man lifted the genre to a new level, but I liked Iron Man the best, mostly because I thought the casting was superb -- it was a dream role for Robert Downey Jr.  Agree or disagree?

The most under-rated, or least talked about character however, seems to be Black Widow, and I thought Scarlett Johansson was great: sexy, smart and tough.  Agree or disagree?

TRIVIA QUESTION: what character in the Avengers hasn't had their own movie, but was introduced in one of the prior listed films?  Who was it and what film did they appear in?

Yes, I'm asking for you to post comments!
