Need For Speed

Ok, so I was a little late getting to this one. Combine high speed car action, a bit of melodrama, and some low key humor and you got Need For Speed. It's not winning any awards, but it was entertaining and engaging.

Transformers Transforms

Transformer: Age of Extinction is the fourth bio-mechanical alien epic in the series, and may serve as a transitional bridge to the story-line. While movie-goers seem to love it (they openly cheered out loud at the screening I attended when Bumble Bee and Optimus Prime make their first appearances), the critics have been trashing it. Richard Roeper of the Chicago Sun-Times calls it "Mind-numbing, bombastic action that seems never to end."
